Someone Should Have Told Elvis Presley And Micheal Jackson....

You know something like, “What goes up must come down.” or, “The bigger they are the harder they fall.” Sure possibly most of us would have like to live the lifestyle of the King Of Pop, or the King of Rock and Roll. But is it really a balanced life? I think Elvis left with a true faith in Christ Jesus, but I'm not sure about Micheal. Elvis' daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, reportedly said on her blog that Micheal felt he would die in almost the same manor as her father. And the parallels are certainly noticeable. Both were suffering from ailing careers and were looking to make a comeback. I think Elvis succeeded somewhat in that endeavor, but Micheal just barely got started.

Their lives were terrible unbalanced, yeah, they have fame and fortune. They lived in mansions and traveled the world. They were both celebrated by many of the world's people. It must feel great to be on the top of your game and on top of the entertainment world. It seems they felt lonely there. But something must happen when you reach the top and suddenly you are on your way down. It happens to us all as we age. We reach our physical peak and then start on a downward spiral with age. And some of us find it difficult to cope with it. Unless we learn to be humble and accept some new talents that only comes with age.

I think both these guys found it hard to accept their ailing careers. It may have led to the abuse of prescription drugs, in order to deal with the emotional and physical pains. We can all learn from the mistakes of these men. They certainly gave a lot to the world in music, but how much more they could have done by accepting the path that God put in front of them. We miss Elvis, and we will miss Micheal too. But most of all we should learn from their mistakes, be humble and be a servant to the Lord.

Before you read this, Go up to Wealththinkers101 Music Edu playlist, and play the song "Turn, Turn, Turn", by The Byrds, Then read this as the song plays. Interesting isn't it?

For everything there is a season,
And a time for every matter under heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die;
A time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal;
A time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to seek, and a time to lose;
A time to keep, and a time to throw away;
A time to tear, and a time to sew;
A time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate,
A time for war, and a time for peace.
