The man who created two phenomenally successful "We The People" YouTube videos urging Americans to stand up against Congress and reclaim their republic now – or perhaps lose it forever – reportedly has been summoned to the White House by President Obama to discuss the subject matter of the short films.

Bob Basso, who posts videos under the name funbobbasso on YouTube, has created videos in which he portrays Thomas Paine, author of the "Common Sense" pamphlet that made the case for independence during the American Revolution.

Basso, whose website offers his services as a motivational speaker, uses the YouTube presentations to condemn "non-representing representatives" and warns, "Only when they feel the almighty wrath of 'We The People' marching in the streets from California to New York shouting 'We're mad as hell and we want our country back' will they get the message they work for you."

He was scheduled this week to appear on the "Jerry Doyle Show" when he told the radio host that Obama had personally invited him to meet in the White House "to discuss the disturbing nature of the videos."

According to a spokesman for Doyle's show, at the time when Basso was supposed to be calling in for the show, he was unavailable. Basso reached the show several hours later, explaining he had been flooded by media calls and literally was unable to call out.

The result, the spokesman said, was that Basso promised to provide Doyle with the first exclusive interview after he meets with Obama, provided the invitation still stands after the meeting was leaked to the press.

The spokesman said information about the meeting has not been made public, and show producers are waiting to see what develops. A WND message left for Basso was not immediately returned.

The Doyle show reaches about 3 million listeners each week, according to Talkers Magazine, and is the fastest growing show in Talk Radio Network Enterprises' history with more than 240 stations.

In his second video, which has been seen more than 1.1 million times, Basso challenges people to let Congress know their displeasure by sending tea bags. It is embedded here:

He criticizes Congress for approving the "largest spending bill in history without reading it" and criticizes American citizens, because "you did nothing."

He raises the issue of billions of dollars for benefits for illegal aliens, the exportation of U.S. jobs overseas and others.

"If your self-serving Congress were a business they'd all be in jail now," he said.

"Wake up, America. While you were playing with the toys of your consumer wealth, you lost much more than your bloated economy of living beyond your means. You lost your representative democracy. Your servants have become your masters. Taxation without representation is tyranny," he said.

He's equally unhappy with Americans in the first video, embedded

In that piece he warns of the problem of supporting the rest of the world while America needs to be rebuilt.

Referring to "progressives," he said, "We had another word in 1776. We called them traitors."

Basso is the author of the best-selling book "This Job Should Be Fun" along with 10 other books, including "Lighten Up Corporate America!"

A former award winning news director for NBC TV and visiting professor at UCLA, Basso has a Ph.D in communications.

Doyle's distinctive repertoire includes former Wall Street insider, TV star and jet pilot. He has starred in many made-for-TV movies, but is best known as the character Michael Garibaldi on the Emmy winning Sci-fi television series "Babylon 5," which ran for five years.

A Pastor with Guts!

My next door neighbor sent me this email and I thank him for it. I have heard this from other sources and never had the name or photo of the pastor. This is the first one that I have seen. It is very good and I hope you enjoy the post.

Thought you might enjoy this interesting
prayer given in Kansas at
the opening session of their Senate. It seems
prayer still upsets some
people.. When Minister Joe Wright was asked to open
the new session of the Kansas Senate, everyone was expecting the usual generalities, but this is

what they heard:

Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask
your forgiveness and to seek your direction and
guidance. We know Your Word says, 'Woe to those
who call evil good,' but that is exactly what we
have done.

We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed
our values.

We have exploited the poor and called it
the lottery.

We have rewarded laziness and called it
welfare.

We have killed our unborn and called it
choice.

We have shot abortionists and called it
justifiable.

We have neglected to discipline our
children and called it building self esteem..

We have abused power and called it
politics.

We have coveted our neighbor's possessions
and called it ambition

We have polluted the air with profanity and
pornography and called it freedom of expression.

We have ridiculed the time-honored values
of our forefathers and called it enlightenment.

Search us, Oh, God, and know our hearts
today; cleanse us from every sin and set us free.
Amen!

The response was immediate. A number of
legislators walked out during the prayer in
protest. In 6 short weeks, Central Christian
Church, where Rev. Wright is pastor, logged more than
5,000 phone calls with only 47 of those calls
responding negatively. The church is now receiving
international requests for copies of this prayer
from India , Africa and Korea .

Commentator Paul Harvey aired this prayer on
his radio program, 'The Rest of the Story,'and
received a larger response to this program than any
other he has ever aired.

With the Lord's help, may this prayer sweep
over our nation and wholeheartedly become our
desire so that we again can be called 'one nation
under God.'

If possible, please pass this prayer on to
your friends. 'If you don't stand for something,
you will fall for everything.'

Feel free to copy link and send to a friend.

Funny Money, This Is Funny, Isn't It? Ha Ha!

When I saw this I just had to laugh out loud. But really when you think about it, it really is a bit scary. WE GOT YOUR MONEY. . .GONNA SPEND YOUR MONEY. . . GONNA PRINT SOME MORE MONEY .

 . we got the money

 I just want to think a buddy of mine who sent this to me via e-mail.

A Game Of Hope

I took this from the Orin Woodward's Leadership Blog. I believe it was also on the Fathers.com website as well. It is such a great story about selfless behavior and the power of building others up, I needed to include it on my blog as well. Enjoy!

An amazing story of hope comes from Texas high school football. Kris Hogan, coach of the Faith Christian Lions in Grapevine, looked at his team's schedule and noticed that they'd be playing against Gainesville State School, a correctional facility for teens. Leading up to that game, he had an out-of-the-box idea:

"I started thinking about the fact that many of these guys had convictions for drugs, assault and robbery,” said Coach Hogan. “Many of their families had disowned them. Then I thought about what it would mean for hundreds of people to suddenly believe in them as individuals and as a team. That’s when I decided we were going to do something different.”

Coach Hogan asked some of the parents to sit on Gainesville State’s side of the field and cheer for the other team—complete with cheerleaders and a spirit line for the players to run through before the game. Needless to say, the boys on the Gainesville State team were a bit surprised and confused at first. But the result was just what Hogan was hoping for. After the game, the Gainesville coach came up to Coach Hogan and said, “You will never know what you have done for these boys.”

Here's a video about the game as covered by Matt Barrie of NBC Sports, Dallas-Fort Worth, TX:

Coach Hogan is nothing short of a hero, and that is confirmed by other details we’ve seen about how he runs his football program. He has what we would call a Championship Fathering vision. His coaching is about a lot more than football, and he recognizes how important it is to reach out to other children who need encouragement and support. He also knows that even small, purposeful actions can make a huge difference in those children’s lives.

These are the kinds of the things that can change our nation’s future for the better. Using Kris Hogan’s example, what steps can the rest of us take to encourage other children—especially kids who don’t have a father? At the National Center, we often urge dads to include other kids when they’re playing outside in the neighborhood, or on fishing or camping trips. But don’t stop there. You probably have some unique opportunities in your community or neighborhood—ways you can think outside the box and do something remarkable that those children will remember for the rest of their

I thought I would put up a video on this subject, because a few people asked
me what I meant by referring to Parrot People Skills. This should clear it up.

God's Glory : Intelligent Design

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters.

Then God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light.

God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness.

God called the light day, and the darkness He called night And there was evening and there was morning, one day.

What Can People Learn From a Parrot?

I think a lot of people feel that they can say whatever is on their mind
whenever they want. Unfortunately it doesn't work in cultivating
lasting relationships. Do you have good people skills or Parrot People Skills?

Watch the Commercial!

Here is another one that shows excellent Parrot People Skills!

Ecclesiasticus

Before you read this, Go up to Wealththinkers101 Music Edu playlist, and play the song "Turn, Turn, Turn", by The Byrds, Then read this as the song plays. Interesting isn't it?

For everything there is a season,
And a time for every matter under heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die;
A time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal;
A time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to seek, and a time to lose;
A time to keep, and a time to throw away;
A time to tear, and a time to sew;
A time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate,
A time for war, and a time for peace.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
